Cloth Sim - La Noria animated short film.

I had the pleasure of working for over two years with an incredibly talented team of artists from all over the world. As a 3D Generalist, I contributed to different aspects of Carlos Baena’s animated short film, with a primary focus on cloth simulation.
I was responsible for developing the setup using Maya nCloth, including creating a reusable preset that provided a strong starting point for simulations across shots.

Carlos was very specific about the look of the simulation. For this long shot, it took several iterations to achieve the right feel of the pyjamas interacting with the teddy bear during the action.
